HEYOH!! I’m Heather, the Secretary of this super cool organization and a board memeber since '23. We have a Freshmen at Michigan (Jonah), as well as a junior at ELHS (Fynn). Jonah and Fynn began swimming with Coach Laura at Trojan Aquatics in grade school. Fynn is on both on the Swim & Dive Team, as well as the Boy’s Polo Team. Jonah started playing co-ed polo with Coach Fickies in 8th grade, where they went undefeated and won the State Championship!! Thereby sealing our fate as year-round chlorine breathers. Fynn started polo freshmen year and has fallen in love.
With two teenagers in the house, my hobbies include driving them around town, buying food, making food, packing food, and ‘cleaning’ out my car for the next meet. We have a golden named Lupin, who just happens to be the best good boy in the world. (Fight me.) He’s my ride or die, so if you see us cruising around town smelling the smells, feel free to make a friend! He thrives on compliments and butt scratches.
Hello! My son Jack is a senior this year and plays water polo, is on the swim team and plays percussion in the marching band. My husband Brian has been coaching swim and water polo, on and off, for the past 20+ years and is an assistant coach this year for boys water polo. We love being a part of this amazing aquatic community!
I work as an occupational therapist for Ingham Intermediate School District. I was previously the Treasurer of ELAPO for the past three years and will serve as the Vice President for my final year. Being a part of this Board and supporting our coaches and athletes has been a joy and I look forward to serving this community this year.
